This Hudson Valley City Among Nation's Most Dangerous, According To Brand-New 2019 Rankings A new report has revealed that a Hudson Valley city ranks among the most dangerous in the country. The report was compiled by Neighborhood Scout and considered each city in America that has 25,000 people or more.  The rankings determined the top 100 most dangerous cities based on the number of violent crimes per 1,000 residents. Violent crimes include armed robbery, aggravated assault, rape and murder.
