The tire of an allegedly drunk driver in Westchester deflated in front of an officer as he was attempting to deny speeding and striking a curb after he nearly drove into him, police said. Police: Five Found Unconscious On Westchester Lawn From Drinking Too Much
Five people in their early 20s were hospitalized and treated by EMS after being found unconscious on the lawn of a residence in Northern Westchester. The incident took place around 8:18 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, when New York State Police responded to a residence in Lincolndale, a hamlet of Somers, said Trooper AJ Hicks. When state police arrived, all five were passed out on the lawn of the residence, according to Hicks. The group had apparently consumed too much alcohol, Hicks said. All are expected to survive, he said.

A Westchester man is facing charges after police say he was found sleeping in his vehicle with the engine running in Greenwich. Greenwich Police say they responded to a report of a disabled vehicle in the area of Davis Avenue and Bruce Park Avenue on Saturday, June 15 around 5 a.m. Further investigation revealed that a man was sleeping in the vehicle in question, according to police. A Connecticut man living in Westchester was busted for his second DWI in less than two years after being caught swerving on a busy Scarsdale road during an early morning drive, police said. A Hudson Valley mom was arrested after attempting to pick up her child from a Fairfield County school while drunk. Wilton Police arrested Jolene Matthews, 41, of Monroe in Orange County, after receiving a call from the Goddard School for a report of an intoxicated parent attempting to pick-up their 4-year-old child, said Lt. A group of potentially intoxicated teenagers became “combative” with police who attempted to break up a house party in Westchester following multiple noise complaints over the weekend. A Westchester man is facing a felony charge after receiving his second DWI in the past decade following an early morning stop in Croton-on-Hudson.
