Scarsdale HS Alumni Group to Honor 12 Distinguished Members

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – A dozen new members will be inducted Saturday into the Scarsdale High School Alumni Associations' Distinguished Alumni group at a 10 a.m. ceremony at Scarsdale High. The 12 new members join 53 other distinguished former high school students in the organization that was established in 2005.

"Scarsdale Alumni belong to a club of the brightest and best-prepared people in the nation," said Ricardo Garcia-Amaya, president of the association, on its website. "Belonging to the Scarsdale Alumni Association means having the opportunity to stand side by side with fellow world explorers, leading scientists, government leaders, successful business individuals and all the other great people that are part of our alumni community. Every year the Scarsdale Alumni Association and the Scarsdale High School honors a group of alumni for their accomplishments in their corresponding fields as well as their positive impact in our society."

Joining the group this year will be Leslie Cannold, Class of 1983, John Dyson, Class of 1961, Glenn Kramon , Class of 1971, Max Krohn , Class of 1995, Jay Lalezari, Class of 1977, Herbert Krosney, Class of 1955, Ethan Nadelmann, Class of 1975, Dan O'Brien, Class of 1992, Eugenie Lang Rosenthal, Class of 1996, Yuki Sonoda, Class of 1979, Elisabeth Stock, Class of 1986, James Traub, Class of 1972.
