SCARSDALE, N.Y. - On the same night a Porsche was stolen from a driveway on Kensington Road, a Mercedes was reported stolen from a home on Carstensen Road in Scarsdale.

Shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, the homeowner called police to report that at approximately 7:10 a.m. that morning, when he exited his home, his blue 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 was missing from the driveway.

After confirming that the vehicle was not in use by another family member, the homeowner reported the alleged theft to police. The Mercedes was last seen in the driveway at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 15.

According to Mercedes-Benz USA a 2017 GLS450 is valued at nearly $70,000.

Police noted that the keys were inside the vehicle and the doors were unlocked at the time of the alleged theft. The homeowner is in the process of utilizing the Mercedes-Benz mobile application and customer service to possibly ascertain a GPS location on the vehicle.

Also on Sunday, police were dispatched to a Kensington Road home, where there was a report of a stolen gray 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet convertible that had been parked in the driveway. For more on that story, click here.
