Troopers patrolling the parkway observed a vehicle traveling in excess of 85 miles per hour on Thursday morning, state police said.
The Buick Enclave, operated by Jizannie H. Foster, accelerated to evade police and exited the parkway into a parking area located on Fairview Park Drive in Elmsford and ran into the FedEx facility where it was later discovered he was employed, according to state police.
With the assistance of site security officers, the Village of Elmsford Police and the Westchester County Police, Foster was located inside of the facility and placed in custody.
Foster was charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree (a Class A misdemeanor), reckless driving (an unclassified misdemeanor) and unlawful possession of marijuana (a violation).
