On New Year’s Eve, police were dispatched to Richelieu Road, where a woman reported that her white 2015 Audi A3 convertible had been stolen from her property.
According to police, the vehicle was parked in the driveway at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, and was last seen the following morning at approximately 2 a.m. The woman discovered that it had been stolen at 8 a.m.
The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.
The victim’s wallet was also in the stolen Audi, which contained several credit cards, a AAA card and her license. Two of the cards were used to spend $11.50 and $59 between 6:30 and 7 a.m. the day the car was stolen. The investigation into the grand larceny is ongoing.
