Scarsdale Little League Drops Baseball Club Amid Safety Concerns

SCARSDALE, N. Y. -- Scarsdale Little League officials cut ties this week with New York Nine baseball club after league members became aware of sexual misconduct allegations against one of the club's leaders, according to Scarsdale10583.com.

Little League officials announced the move after reading an article in the Sunday, March 20, New York Post article about Ian Millman, former teacher and coach who started New York Nine in 2006. 

Scarsdale10583.com reports that the article brought to light that Millman, who ran clinics and coached travel teams for Scarsdale, had a long-term sexual relationship with a student when he was an academic intervention specialist at World Journalism Preparatory School in Flushing, Queens.
