Scarsdale Bronx River Parkway Exits To Close

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The long-anticipated closure of the entrance ramp at Pipeline Road to the southbound Bronx River Parkway in Greenburgh, which Scarsdale residents have been dreading, will be take place beginning Monday.

The ramp will not be re-opened until the completion of the three-year, $39.4 million Crane Road Bridge Project, estimated to be about April 2015.

The stretch of Pipeline Road between the Hartsdale Railroad Station and Edgemont Place will remain open to traffic in both directions. Motorists exiting the Hartsdale Railroad Station heading for the southbound Bronx River Parkway should use the southbound Fenimore Road entrance ramp.

Local traffic is advised to use Ardsley Road to enter the southbound Bronx River Parkway. Residents were advised of these closures at a recent Scarsdale Board of Trustees meeting on the Crane Road Bridge Project.
