Alert Canceled For Missing Teen

The missing 15-year-old girl from Long Island has been located Thursday morning near her hometown of Cedarhurst in Nassau County.

An alert has been issued for a Long Island teen who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Maladie Mignott, 15, of Cedarhurst on the south shore of Nassau County, was last seen after being dropped off at Lawrence High School on Wednesday at around 2 p.m., according to authorities.

She was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, and bluejeans and carrying a dark-colored backpack.

Anyone with information should call 911.
