Accidents On Taconic, I-287 Cause Delays During Morning Commute

Motorists experienced delays on several of the area's major roadways during the Tuesday morning commute.

An accident on the southbound Taconic State Parkway at the Saw Mill River Parkway caused backups to Pleasantville Road. The crash was reported at 8:44 a.m.

An accident on eastbound Route 202 east of the Bear Mountain State Parkway led to tieups throughout the morning commute.

Earlier, a 7:55 a.m. crash on the eastbound side of I-287 led to delays between Exit 3 (Sprain Brook Parkway) and Exit 4 (Knollwood Road).

A disabled vehicle on the shoulder of the southbound Taconic State Parkway caused delays south of Peekskill Hollow Road at 8 a.m.
