Scarsdale resident Carol E. Pelliccio died on Sept. 30. She was 69.
Pelliccio was born in Bronxville on Oct. 21, 1941 to William and Helen Reiner. She married John Pelliccio on Aug. 17, 1963 at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Pelliccio worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Chappaqua. She loved to cook for family holidays and found joy in animals, never refusing a stray.
Pelliccio is survived by her husband John, her sons John Pelliccio with wife Karen and William Pelliccio with wife Gene, daughter Karen Sozio and husband Ralph, her brother William Reiner and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Dominick and her brother Edwin.
The funeral mass will take place Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Chapel of the Divine Compassion at Good Counsel Campus in White Plains, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. Funeral services were handled by Yannantuono Burr Davis Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
