Low-Flying Helicopters May Appear Over Part Of Town In Westchester: Here's Where, Why

If you look up in the sky in Northern Westchester and see low-flying helicopters, don't be alarmed—it's part of regularly scheduled inspections, police announced.

According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, residents in the hamlet of Pocantico Hills may see helicopters flying closer to the ground than usual as part of Con Edison inspections on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The utility company will be performing high-tension line inspections during this time, the department said.
