Writers Invited To Hone Their Craft In Classes At Scarsdale Library

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The following classes will be held at the Scarsdale Public Library:

  • Writing Dialogue That Works: Thursday, Oct. 15, 2:30 p.m. 
  • Writing Plot That Works: Thursday, Nov. 12, 2:30 p.m. 
  • Writing Characterization That Works: Thursday, Dec. 10, 2:30 p.m. 

Writers of all levels are welcome. 

Victoria Provazza is one of the teachers. She received her bachelor's degree from Providence College. She is currently pursuing a master of fine arts in fiction at Sarah Lawrence College, where she serves as the managing editor for the literary journal, "Lumina." Her work is forthcoming in Story|Houston. 

Another teacher, Katie Bonadies, received her bachelor's degree from Smith College with a certificate in Buddhist studies. She is an master of fine arts candidate in fiction writing at Sarah Lawrence College, where she is the executive editor of "Lumina." Her work has appeared in The Louisville Review.
