Scarsdale's Hoff-Barthelson Music School Adds Programs For Vocal Students

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale is offering new opportunities for vocal students.

In addition to private lessons and a variety of ensembles, vocal students will be able to participate in a wide range of activities led by a roster of guest artists. 

Saturday for Singers features two workshops: Acting and Performance Skills with stage director Chuck Hudson, followed by Movement for Singers with dancer and choreographer, Maria Zannieri.

Both workshops will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, from 1:15-5 p.m. at the music school, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale. 

The Song is You! Jazz Vocal Workshop Series, with guest vocalist MJ Territo, explores the world of jazz for singers and will be held on three consecutive Fridays, Nov. 6, 13, and 20, at 7 p.m. at the music school. 

Vocal Master Class with Marin Mazzie, a three-time Tony Award nominee for her roles on Broadway, is scheduled for March 20, at 2 p.m. and will be held at the Scarsdale Library, 54 Olmsted Road.
