Scarsdale Food And Wine Festival Announces Chef, Music Schedule

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Some of the top restaurants in Westchester County will be on hand for the Southern Westchester Food and Wine Festival Sunday in Scarsdale, as well as musical acts, celebrity chef demonstrations and book signings.

The inaugural festival will showcase food and wine from Ardsley, Bronxville, Dobbs Ferry, Eastchester, Hartsdale, Harrison, Irvington, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor, Port Chester, Purchase, Rye Town, Rye Brook, Rye City, Scarsdale, Tuckahoe and White Plains.

Here is  the full schedule of celebrity chef demos, book signings and musical performances:

Chef demos:

11:30 a.m.: Nisa Lee

12:30 p.m.: Rafael Palomino

1:30 p.m.: David Burke

2:30 p.m.: Stew Leonard’s and Tri-State Epicurious Healthy Recipe Winners

3:30 p.m.: Ken Arnone-Master Chef

Book Signings:

Noon: Dana Jacoby

1 p.m.: Tanya Steele-Editor in Chief, Epicurious.com

1:45 p.m.: Rafael Palomino

2:30 p.m.: David Burke – Chef

3:30 p.m.: Missy Chase Lapine- The Sneaky Chef

4:30 p.m.: Ken Arnone-Master Chef

Music Stage:

11:00 a.m. to noon: DJ Zap Music

Noon to 2 p.m.: B Street band

2-2:30 p.m.: DJ Zap Music

2:30- 4:30 p.m.: Joe D 'Urso and Stone Caravan

4:30-5 p.m. DJ Zap Music

Those who attend will enjoy samples from more than 50 restaurants, breweries (including local celebrity Captain Lawrence), wineries and bakeries for two or three tickets, which will be sold in strips of 5 for $20.

There also will be giveaways and contests during this free all-day event. Family-friendly activities will be available for children, including healthy snacks and fun activities.

A portion of all proceeds will be given to The Food Bank of Westchester and other local charities for people in need in Westchester County.
