The recital will take place at 5 p.m. at the Greenville Community Church, 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale.
Klinger and Robbins will perform a recital of French masterpieces for violin and piano, including Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata in G minor, Maurice Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2 in G Major and César Franck’s Violin Sonata in A Major.
Admission to the recital is $18, $15 for seniors and free to HBMS students and students 18 years and younger. Tickets to a series of three recitals are available at a reduced rate. Klinger, a native of South Africa, has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber player in concerts and recitals in South Africa, England and the U.S. She made her debut at age 15 with a major orchestra in South Africa and was a frequent soloist with the South African Broadcasting Corp.
Robbins has distinguished himself internationally as a soloist, having performed throughout the world in virtually every major music center with orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, and its affiliates, London Mozart Players, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Portland Chamber Orchestra.
