Couples and singles, adults and teens ages 14 and up, with all levels of dance ability are welcome to the evening of salsa and music. Lessons with New York City salsa instructor Dister Rondon will begin at 7 p.m. followed by open dancing to music by DJ Funkshun.
The event will take place outside at the JCC located at 999 Wilmot Road. Festivities will move inside if it rains.

The JCC is also offering Argentine Tango for Beginners – singles or couples – with instructor Kathy Cressent on three Wednesdays: June 11, 18 and 25 from 7:45-9:00 p.m. This beginner's class is open to everyone, no partner necessary. Be sure to bring leather-soled shoes. All three classes are $66; single class is $25. Pre-register by contacting Jayne Santoro at (914) 472-3300 ext. 320 or santoroj@jccmw.org. Summer ballet and tap classes for adults and teens are offered Monday through Saturday, mornings or evenings, from June 30 to August 16. Summer Dance Intensive, for students entering grades 7-12 gives experienced dancers the opportunity to work with professional dance instructors. New this summer, younger dancers ages 3-9 and up can take Tiny Toes (pre-ballet), creative ballet or Hip-Hop throughout July.
