Sears stores in Utica and Staten Island, as well as Vineland, N. J., made the partial list identified through media reports by Consumer Media, a nonprofit arm of Consumer Reports. Sears officials haven't identified which stores are closing though they do say liquidation sales have started and employees have been notified, CBS News reports.
Analysts are questioning whether this move is enough to help the struggling retailer, CBS News says.
