Lauren, who recently stepped down as CEO of his company, is discussed in the new book “Superbosses” as an employer who urges members of his team to become leaders by alternating his techniques between micromanaging and delegating, according to the Business Insider.

The 76-year-old fashion designer, who stepped down from his company in November, was said by Dartmouth business professor and author of the book Sydney Finkelstein to be a perfect example of the superboss phenomenon, according to the Business Insider.
