Banana Boat Sunscreen Brand Recalled Due To Cancer-Causing Chemical A popular brand of sunscreen is being recalled due to the presence of a cancer-causing chemical. Edgewell Personal Care Company issued the voluntary nationwide recall of three batches of Banana Boat Hair & Scalp Sunscreen Spray SPF 30 on Saturday, July 30, according to an announcement from the Food and Drug Administration.
