Westchester Man Charged For 2017 Slaying Of 47-Year-Old A suspect from Westchester County has been charged for a 2017 slaying in Sullivan County. Naheem Liles, 22, of Mount Vernon has been charged with felony second-degree murder in connection with the Sept. 30, 2017 shooting death of Shaun Chadwick, 47, of Liberty.  Liles was arrested on Thursday, June 4 in New York City by officers from the Monticello Police Department, Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office and New York State Police. Members of the Monticello Police Department, with assistance from Sullivan County Sheriff deputies and New York State Police, arrested Anthony Joseph Heim of Spring Valley, on Friday, Nov. 23. 25-Year-Old Steals Tools Valued At $1,100 From House Under Construction, Police Say A 25-year-old man is behind bars after police say he stole tools valued at $1,100 at a home in the Hudson Valley and then attempted to kick the window of a police cruiser when he was arrested. The arrest comes after an investigation into the burglary of a residence which is currently under renovation in the Village of Monticello.
