Westchester Man With Suspended License Caught With Ecstasy, Police Say An 22-year-old Northern Westchester man with a suspended license is facing charges after he was caught with ecstasy in Putnam, according to the Putnam Sheriff. Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed a driver commit a traffic violation in the Town of Putnam Valley on Thursday, July 11. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Paul Andrew Smith, of Ossining, and the passenger, identified as Michelle Rush, 20, of Penfield, were in possession of marijuana, according to NEU members. Westchester Man Busted By State Police With .21 Percent BAC, Police Say A man driving drunk with a blood-alcohol content nearly triple the legal limit was arrested for his second DWI in Westchester, police said. New York State Police troopers stopped a vehicle on I-287 in Greenburgh shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, when the driver, Elmsford resident Alexander Ramos committed several vehicle and traffic violations. During the subsequent stop, troopers said that Ramos, was found to be intoxicated and he was arrested. Woman Caught Speeding Through School Zone Had Suspended License, Yorktown Police Say A woman who was allegedly caught speeding through a school zone had a suspended license at the time of the incident, according to Yorktown Police.
