The graffiti was discovered in Yorktown where the Taconic Parkway passes over the Croton Reservoir northbound on Saturday, May 21. The graffiti, which was signed with the initials JJC, was done in blue spray paint and said "Jackson C. One Lane To Be Closed On Taconic For Daytime Roadwork In Columbia County Be ready for possible traffic delays on the Taconic Parkway in the coming weeks. Paving work on the parkway beginning Monday, May 23, will close one lane in both directions in Columbia County between Claverack and Chatham, according to the Department of Transportation. Lanes will be closed between State Route 217 and Interstate 90 each day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting. Work is expected to wrap up Thursday, June 30. Two Lanes On I-684 Reopen This story has been updated. Two lanes on southbound I-684 have reopened after a crash toward the tail end of the Wednesday morning commute. The I-684 southbound incident occurred at the Saw Mill Parkway junction (Exit 5) in Katonah at about 8:30 a.m. An earlier crash led to the closure of the northbound lanes of the Taconic Parkway at Exit 23 (Bryant Pond Road) in Putnam Valley.
