Wind Advisory: Gusts Up To 50 MPH Could Blow Down Limbs, Trees, Power Lines, Causing Outages
The main threat from the season's first Nor'easter will be gusty, strong winds that could cause power outages. A Wind Advisory has been issued for the entire region by the National Weather Service. It will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 through 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. The storm, which developed off the Delmarva Peninsula, intensified as it moved north, and arrived in the area in the middle of the afternoon on Wednesday.
