A US senator and one-time MMA fighter threatened to fight a New Englander who is the president of the Teamsters, over a mean tweet on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma took issue with International Brotherhood of Teamsters President Sean O'Brien, a Massachusetts native from Medford, calling the freshman congressman a "greedy CEO," a "clown," and a "fraud" on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the past 24 hours, the average price of gas rose 11 cents, up to $4.37 per gallon in New York, according to AAA, after spiking at $4.26 the previous day.
According to AAA, a week ago, the average was $3.81 (up 45 cents), a month ago it was at $3.61 (up 65 cents), and one year ago an average gallon cost motorists $2.83 (up $1.53).

Travelers from six states have been removed from the COVID-19 joint quarantine list of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
California, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio were removed from the Travel Advisory List on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Puerto Rico was added to the list.
The quarantine applies to any person arriving from a state with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a seven-day rolling average or a state with a 10 percent or higher positivity rate over a seven-day rolling average.

Travelers from five states have been removed from the COVID-19 joint quarantine list of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
This marks the first week since the list was started on Thursday, June 25, when eight states were initially named, that no new states with high COVID positivity testing rates have been added. However, one new territory has been added: Guam.
The five states removed on Tuesday, Aug. 25 are Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Maryland and Montana.
