The man accused of causing a deadly motorcycle crash in Lake George that killed a young boy and his stepfather was not even supposed to be operating the bike, CBS 6 in Albany reports.
Anthony Futia, age 33, of Albany, did not have a valid motorcycle license at the time of the crash and had previous license suspensions, the outlet reports.

Two pedestrians, including a child, were killed after a vehicle went off the road and crashed onto a bike path in Lake George, according to New York State Police.
The crash happened on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at about 3:40 p.m. on Route 9 near the Lake George Expedition Park in the town of Lake George.

An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a wrong-way crash in Northern Westchester.
The crash happened in North Salem at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, according to New York State Police.
A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on Titicus Road near Oakridge Road when, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle entered the westbound lane and struck a 2007 BMW SUV head-on, according to state police.

29-Year-Old From Westchester Dies After Crash In Fairfield County
A 29-year-old from Westchester County is dead following a crash in Fairfield County.
It happened around 6:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 6, on Route 8 in Shelton, said the Connecticut State Police.
According to state police, Erzsebet Menczel, age 45, of Derby, was driving a Honda CR-V and crashed into John Mateo Oliver, of Yonkers, who was driving a BMW motorcycle.
Oliver was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash closed Route 8 for several hours during an investigation.

A 27-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight in Northern Westchester.
It happened around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, May 13 in Cortlandt.
According to a preliminary investigation by New York State Police, a 2020 Buick Encore, operated by Joyce M. Pellegrino, age 72, of Peekskill, was traveling eastbound on Route 6 and made a left-hand turn into the path of a westbound motorcycle.
The 2006 Honda motorcycle, operated by Christopher R. Eastman, of Cortlandt, was subsequently struck and ejected, according to state police.

A 32-year-old man was killed in a collision between a BMW and a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle, according to state police.
The crash took place around 2:10 p.m., Saturday, April 10 in Northern Westchester on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
When troopers arrived on the scene, close to mile marker 15.5 southbound on the parkway, they found Yorktown Emergency Medical Services personnel were already performing life-saving measures on the operator of the motorcycle, Hicks said.

A man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Bronx River Parkway in Westchester.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m., Saturday, July 27, near the Wakefield overpass in Yonkers, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
According to an investigation Rafael Rodriguez, 41, of the Bronx, was traveling northbound when he lost control and struck a concrete barrier and a light pole, O'Leary said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
