Beloved Teacher, Former HS/College Star Athlete From Westchester Dies At 50 A beloved teacher who was a standout athlete in high school in Northern Westchester and in college has died after a battle with cancer. Amy Mittelstadt Traudt, who died on Friday, June 11, was 50 years old.  "She was surrounded by loved ones who will honor her legacy by continuing to live their lives to the fullest," according to her obituary.
