Child Struck, Killed By School Bus In Hudson Valley A child has died after being struck by a school bus in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29 in front of 100 Clinton Ave., in the Village of New Square. According to Lt. Blaine Howell of the Ramapo Police, the 8-year-old child was treated by paramedics on the scene but was pronounced dead. The driver of the bus remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police, Howell said. 9-Year-Old Critically Injured After Being Hit By Truck In Hudson Valley A 9-year-old Hudson Valley boy who was hit by a pickup truck after getting off a school bus is in critical, but stable condition. The crash took place in Rockland County around 5:10 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, at Pioneer Avenue and North Airmont Road in the village of Montebello. A Ramapo PD officer on patrol was made aware of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
