Man Indicted For Fatal Hit-Run Crash That Killed Lifelong Westchester Resident
A 27-year-old man has been indicted on multiple charges after being involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that left a lifelong 91-year-old Westchester resident dead. Johnny David Machado, of Hastings-on-Hudson, was indicted this week in the fatal hit-and-run that killed Rocco DePaolo in Dobbs Ferry last year, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., announced. Specifically, Machado was charged with leaving the scene of an accident without report and criminally negligent homicide, both felonies.
