Woman Traveling At Unsafe Speed Injured As Car Becomes Engulfed In Flames After I-84 Crash A driver was injured after her car crashed and was engulfed in flames on I-84. Police say the car was heading eastbound on the interstate in East Fishkill on Monday, Dec. 30 when it went off the roadway into the center median and caught fire. They say the 41-year-old driver was apparently going at an unsafe speed in icy conditions. The Southeast woman was taken to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries.

Projected snowfall totals from the storm show generally 1 to 3 inches for most of the area, with 3 to 6 inches farther to the west, from Tuesday night, Jan. 29 into Wednesday morning, Jan. 30. There were delays on two of the major Westchester roadways during the Friday morning.as a result of crashes. A stretch of the Bronx River Parkway was closed during a police investigation of a wrong-way crash. The closure occurred northbound between the Cross County Parkway and the Sprain Brook Parkway.
