Know him? Police investigators in Westchester are seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted for an alleged larceny of a cellphone at Home Depot. The New Rochelle Police Department issued an alert for a man who allegedly stole a woman’s phone shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29 at Home Depot on Weyman Avenue. Recall Issued For 26K Cooktops Over Burn, Fire Hazards
A series of Whirlpool, KitchenAid and JennAir brand glass cooktops have been recalled due to burn and fire hazard issues, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Issued on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the recall alert states that certain models of glass cooktops with touch controls can turn on by themselves and pose burn and fire hazards. These cooktops were sold at Lowe’s, Home Depot, Best Buy and other home improvement and home appliance and other stores from March 2017 through Aug. 2019 and were priced between $1,150 and $2,500. Lowe's To Lay Off Thousands Of Employees, Outsource Some Positions To Third Parties
Thousands of Lowe’s employees will soon be out of a job as the home improvement retail giant reshuffles positions. Lowe’s announced that it is planning to outsource the jobs of maintenance and assembly workers to third-party companies, including workers that put together certain items such as grills and wheelbarrows. The news of layoffs was first reported by the Wall Street Journal. It is unclear exactly how many employees are being laid off, but it is expected to be in the thousands. Police Seek Help In IDing Man In Westchester Grand Larceny investigation
Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man seen in the photo below in connection to a grand larceny investigation in Northern Westchester. On Oct. 16, 2018, the man allegedly tried to leave the Home Depot at 3051 E. Main St. in Cortlandt with unpaid for merchandise, according to New York State Police in Cortlandt. Know Them Or This Minivan? Westchester Grand Larceny Suspects On Loose
Suspects in a grand larceny incident that occurred at a Home Depot in Northern Westchester are on the loose and police are asking the public's help in finding them. The individuals in the photos above are suspected of stealing merchandise from the Home Depot in Mohegan Lake in late February, and then leaving the area in a white Dodge Caravan minivan. Two Behind Bars Following Pursuit From Westchester Over New Tappan Zee Bridge
Two men are behind bars after taking police on a chase over the new Tappan Zee Bridge after allegedly stealing tools from the Home Depot in Mount Pleasant. The men, who have not been identified, tried to steal two “hammer tools” valued at $650 each around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday from Home Depot in Mount Pleasant, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Man Stole $3K In Merchandise From Hudson Valley Home Depot, Police Say
A 52-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he stole more than $3,000 worth of merchandise at a Home Depot in the area. Troopers responded to the Home Depot in the Wappingers Falls for a larceny reported by Loss Prevention on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at approximately 2:10 p.m. A subsequent investigation determined Anthony Gray of the Bronx stole the thousands of dollars of merchandise. New Rochelle City Council Moves Forward With Ambitious City Yard Relocation
The New Rochelle City Council has unanimously agreed to move forward with the proposed new Public Works Operation Center. City officials announced this week that they have reached the agreement to construct the new Public Works Operations Center - more commonly referred to as City Yard - in the ground level of the busy Home Depot/Costco complex at Nardozzi Place. Under the terms of the agreement, a private developer will construct a 245,000-square-foot commercial structure, then lease 130,000-square-feet at the ground level for city use.
