A threat was made to the New Rochelle High School on social media Wednesday night, though it was unfounded, school officials said on Thursday. Police Increase Presence Outside New Rochelle HS Following Fatal Stabbing
There was a heavy police presence outside of the New Rochelle High School on Thursday morning, a day after a 16-year-old student was fatally stabbed during a fight around the corner from the campus. Valaree Schwab, a junior at the high school, was stabbed outside of Dunkin’ Donuts on North Avenue on Wednesday afternoon during a dispute with another student.
