Following a soft launch in March, officials in New Rochelle officially kicked off the program on Friday with a maiden voyage from City Hall to Anderson Plaza to mark the official launch of the county’s first such program. New Rochelle City Council Moves Forward With Ambitious City Yard Relocation The New Rochelle City Council has unanimously agreed to move forward with the proposed new Public Works Operation Center. City officials announced this week that they have reached the agreement to construct the new Public Works Operations Center - more commonly referred to as City Yard - in the ground level of the busy Home Depot/Costco complex at Nardozzi Place.
