18-Year-Old Shot Walking Down Street In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot in the leg while walking down a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County just after 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 in the hamlet of Hillcrest. According to Det. Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, the man was walking on Slinn Avenue in Hillcrest when he was shot. He was treated at Westchester Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, Franklin said. Vehicle Shot On Busy Stretch Of Route 22 An 18-year-old who was target shooting on a busy area roadway allegedly hit a vehicle on the highway as it passed by has been arrested, according to police. The incident took place on Friday, April 16, in Putnam County. State Police received a complaint from a driver that while driving on State Route 22 in the town of Patterson heard three to four loud pops, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
