It was the teams' second meeting in as many weeks, marking the first time in the 86-year history of the heated rivalry that's happened. Rye had beaten Harrison in the regular-season finale by two touchdowns in a game that was tied 14-14 at the half.
But in the latest meeting, Rye raced out to a 34-0 halftime lead, with Jamie Chabot rushing for three touchdowns, and the Rye defense forcing six turnovers.
Rye will host a quarterfinal game Friday at 7 PM. This was Rye's fourth straight win against the Huskies.
