RYE, N.Y. Rye's School of the Holy Child junior and Bronxville native Ali Isabella isn't quite like other high school students. While most Holy Child students will spend Sunday, Feb. 26 getting ready for the school week ahead, Isabella will be on stage at London's Wembley Arena performing as part of an International Country Music Festival.
This is a dream come true, Isabella released in a statement. I am so grateful for this chance and thrilled to meet the wonderful artists who will be performing.
Among the artists that Isabella will share the stage with are 14-time Grammy Award winner, Ricky Skaggs, singers of the hit song "I'm Already There," Lonestar, and the best-selling female country artist of all-time, Reba McEntire.
On her blog, Isabella wrote that her upbringing was instrumental to her early success as her parents used music as a "fun educational tool" during her early development.
Kim Calhoun, director of the arts at Holy Child, sang Isabella's praises to The Daily Rye.
"Ali is a tremendous talent, Calhoun said. "I am so impressed by the dedication and warmth she brings to everything she does. I hope Ali enjoys every moment of her successshe has certainly earned it."
Isabella, who will be the youngest artist to ever perform at the event, made her professional debut at the age of 14 at New York's The Bitter End. She has since recorded her first studio album in Nashville that is set to be released the same day she makes her international debut.
