Kennedy, a human rights activist and writer, has spent her life working with marginalized people across the globe. As the founder of the Speak Truth to Power project, Kennedy's work aims to create a culture free from oppression and persecution.
Kerry Kennedy is the daughter of politician Robert Kennedy, and niece of former President John F. Kennedy. She lives in Bedford.
This special event coincides with the Univision TECHO Poverty Awareness Week campaign, which is being co-hosted by Pace University.
The one on one discussion will be held at Pace's Manhattan campus in the Schimmel Center on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6:00 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
