The open house will be held in historic Reid Castle on the Manhattanville campus at 2900 Purchase St.
The information session, which is free to all, will provide an overview of the School of Business’s graduate programs, advanced certificates and what to expect when applying and after enrollment. Prospective students will also be given the opportunity to meet with program directors, admissions staff and current students. Open house attendees will receive an application fee waiver.
The program will also feature School of Business professor Scott Walsh, who will present a 20-minute session on “Strategic Talent Management -- New Paradigms for Employment in the 21st Century.” Walsh will examine the impact of technological change and global competition on companies’ current talent acquisition and development strategies, and will discuss the implications for new job seekers’ and current employees’ success in the workplace. Particular emphasis will be placed on the critical role of the “knowledge worker.”
The Manhattanville School of Business’s graduate programs of study include: Business Leadership, Human Resource Management and Organizational Effectiveness, Finance, International Management, Marketing Communication Management and Sports Business Management.
