Frederick J. Brauer Jr., 83, Of Rye, Korean War Vet, Computer Analyst

RYE, N.Y. - Frederick J. Brauer Jr. of Rye died June 24. He was 83.

Brauer was born Oct. 14, 1929, son of Frederick Sr. and Bertha Brauer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and later went on to a more than 25 year career as a computer analyst with Bankers Trust in New York City. He also worked as a ranger for Rye Golf Club for 10 years. He was an 18 year parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church.

Brauer is survived by his wife, Anne (nee Caparelli) Brauer; sons, John Brauer and Robert Brauer; sisters-in-law, Mary Rose Caparelli, Patricia C. Cote; brother-in-law, Frank Caparelli; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Albert and Edward Brauer; sisters, Helen Graves and Elsie Johnson; and brother-in-law, Richard Caparelli.

Calling hours are Tuesday, June 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 26 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery.
