Alfred A. Lattanzio, 86, Of Rye Brook, Formerly Of Yonkers

RYE, N.Y. — Alfred A. Lattanzio, a longtime resident of Rye Brook and formerly of Yonkers, died peacefully at his home April 8. He was 86.

He was extremely active in the local community, serving as the chairman of the founding committee of Blind Brook High School, a president of Ridge Street School PTA and as a founding member of the Village of Rye Brook.

Lattanazio is survived by his wife Cora, daughters Carol Lattanzio, Lynn Lattanzio Fruauff and Joyce Lattanzio Bean, son-in-laws Arthur Fruauff and Frank Bean Jr., and six grandchildren.

Calling hours will be  from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye. 

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Parkinson's Foundation.
