RYE, N.Y. -- A Rye woman reportedly jumped from the roof of an office building in White Plains and was pronounced dead Friday morning, according to a report from The Journal News.
Suzanne Whaling, 73, was pronounced dead on arrival to White Plains Hospital Friday morning, according to the report. She reportedly jumped from the five-story high Kennedy Building located across Main Street from the Galleria mall, according to the report.
“It’s still under investigation, but we’re treating it as an apparent suicide,” police Capt. Joe Castelli said in The Journal News report.
