RYE, N.Y. -- Blind Brook overflowed after heavy rain Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning flooding Wappanocca Avenue and low-lying areas nearby.
Water levels have since receded, but a flood watch has been issued with possible thunderstorms and scattered showers Thursday evening through Saturday.
Residents in flood-prone areas, particularly Rye's Indian Village neighborhood, are advised to move vehicles to higher ground.
