Lane Closures To Affect I-287 In Rye During Emergency Repairs

A lane closure is set to slow traffic on a busy Westchester highway as crews perform emergency repairs, officials announced.

The lane closure will affect the eastbound lanes of I-287 near Exit 12 in Rye.

One of the two eastbound lanes on Interstate 287 in Rye near Exit 12 will close overnight on Friday, June 21, the New York State Thruway Authority announced.

The closure will begin at 10 p.m. and will allow for emergency guide rail repairs, officials said.

There will also be several traffic stops during the work.
