Friday, Aug. 2

Shakespeare's The Taming Of The Shrew: 5:30 p.m. This is the third consecutive year that the Port Chester Council for the Arts and LawnChair Theatre bring William Shakespeare to this beautiful setting with Long Island Sound as a backdrop. In keeping with the theme, intermission will feature a 1960s-style trivia game show in which audience members will compete to win prizes. Admission to the programs is free but contributions are welcome. Rye Town Park, 95 Dearborn Ave, Rye. 

Wiggle & Giggle Time: 9:30 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program at the Rye Free Reading Room. 1061 Boston Post Road.

Saturday, Aug. 3 Port Chester Housing "Unity Day 2013": 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be Basketball Games, Face Painting, Free Food, Vendors, Water Sprinkler, Kids Games and Activities. Free. Columbus Park, Ryan Ave, Port Chester.
