Wiggle and Giggle Time: 9:30 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program at the Rye Free Reading Room. 1061 Boston Post Road.

Saturday, September 21

Sound Shore Arts and Music Festival: 10 a.m. The festival features arts vendors, live music and an interactive children's area hosted by the WCM, Clay Art Center and Edith Read Sanctuary. Free. Rye Town Park, Rye.

Parking and Beach Procedures: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rye Town Park will be offering discounted parking from Monday, September 9th through Sunday, September 29th. On days when the weather is good, parking will be $3 for 2013 season permit-holders, and $5 for non-permit holders. The fees will be charged from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rye Town Park will be open for sunbathing and play in the sand from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well. 95 Dearborn Ave, Rye.
