“As we get back into the swing of back-to-school and work routines, Super Hero Day at Playland is a perfect way to enjoy a little extra summertime fun,” said Westchester County Excecutive Robert P. Astorino.
Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Widow and the Hulk will bring some extra summer fun to Playland for Labor Day weekend. The park's Music Tower Stage will hold two special action -packed superhero shows at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. and a "meet and greet" at 3:30 p.m. The rain or shine shows are free with park admission.
Park admission is $30 and $20 for juniors under 48" and includes all rides and shows.
Residents of Westchester with acceptable proof are eligible for a $5 discount. Spectator admission (no rides) is free to Westchester and $10 for non-residents. Parking is $10. The park will have a special $15 all-day rate on Sept. 7.
Playland will be open Sept. 6 from noon until 11 p.m.
