Rye Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Program

RYE, N.Y. -- “Every Hero Has a Story,” the Rye Free Reading Room’s 2015 Summer Reading Program, kicks off with a visit from Christopher D’Agostino on June 29 at 2 p.m.

D’Agostino will combine storytelling with face painting and audience participation for children entering grades K through 5. Stories will include original narratives as well as traditional folktales and hero stories.

Children can participate in the reading program by signing up at the library on the day of the launch event or online at www.ryelibrary.org.

The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Auxiliary Board of the Rye Free Reading Room and the Woman’s Club of Rye, Children’s Philanthropy.
