Burkus, the author of "Myths of Creativity: The Truth About How Innovative Companies and People Generate Ideas," will make an appearance from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at the Rye Grill and Bar, according to a press release. The event is part of an ongoing series "that brings fresh insights and viewpoints to the local public relations community," according to the release. The Westchester/Fairfield Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is presenting the event.
Burkus is an assistant professor of management at the College of Business at Oral Roberts University who teaches courses on creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and organizational behavior, according to the release.
Tickets for the event are $35 for members and FCC, guests pay $40 and students $20. To register, residents are invited to go to the Westchester/Fairfield Chapter of PRSA's website.
