During this time there will be no parking on the east side of Warburton Avenue between Washington Avenue and Main Street.
There will also be no parking on the north side of Washington Avenue between Southside Avenue and Broadway.
By complying with these restrictions the Department of Public Works will be able to clear the snow much quicker and open up both areas for parking by Friday morning, officials said.
Also, the Hastings DPW is asking residents to park their cars off of streets, if possible, to allow for better street blowing and to not shovel snow into roadways. The Hastings Fire Department asks residents to clear hydrants of snow near their homes.
