New York State Thruway officials have closed the new Tappan Zee Bridge to all trucks and buses after two tractor-trailers overturned on the bridge.
The two tractor-trailers flipped over on the northbound side of the bridge around 1:30 p.m. Friday, blocking two right lanes, said state police.
The ban was issued after another tractor-trailer flipped over on the northbound side around 10 a.m. Friday.
The banned vehicles include tractor-trailers, buses, and motorcycles, state police said.
